Most of our items are made-to-order, including our pendants, rings, and signature clasps, and take 3-4 weeks for delivery from the order date. The only exception would be chains that are ordered with the Luxury Lobster Clasp, which typically take 5-7 business days for handling and about 2 days to be delivered from there.

Yes. Every shipment requires a direct, adult signature at the delivery location and there are absolutely no exceptions to this policy.

Most carriers will attempt to deliver your package up to 3 times, once per day over 3 consecutive days. If all 3 attempts are unsuccessful, they will hold your package at a local carrier hub for you to pick it up from for a limited time. Every order we ship is fully insured. We also use inconspicuous shipping boxes so that your high-value item does not stand out to potential criminals. For this reason, shipping issues are almost 0% across thousands of orders. If something ever did happen to your shipment, we will work with you to resolve the issue or replace your order.

All items ship from either our headquarters in Houston, Tx or our second facility in Chicago, IL.

All shipments in the USA will ship via 2-Day or Overnight shipping with either UPS or FedEx. International shipments are typically shipped with DHL, but may also be shipped via UPS or FedEx.

We do love to accommodate your requests, but we are limited to a few providers by our insurance. That being said, if you would like to choose between UPS, FedEx, and DHL, please do let us know by emailing with your order number.

Yes. We can ship to a UPS or FedEx facility where you will be required to show your government issued identification for pickup. To do this, please use the facility address as the shipping address and put the name of the facility as the company name in the shipping address. Example: Company name "UPS Store"

Thankfully this almost never happens. If it does, please email with your order number if your shipment gets lost or delayed in transit. We will work with the carrier to locate the package or file an insurance claim while we promptly replace your order.

Yes. We ship to most major international destinations across North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Please look for your country or destination on the shipping page during checkout.

We have a flat $50 fee for international shipping. Please be aware that you will also be responsible for any import taxes and duties.

Our pendants, bracelets, rings, and some handmade chains are made in-house by our master jewelers here in the USA, while most of our chains are imported from Italy. The items we craft in-house are primarily made in Houston, Tx, althought some are made in Chicago and New York as well. 10k is comprised of 41.7% gold. 14k is comprised of 58.5% gold. 18k is comprised of 75% gold. 22k is comprised of 91.7% gold. 100% Pure gold is 24 karat. All numbers are approximate

All of our chains are completely solid. Some of our pendants and rings have been strategically carved out from the back or inside a bit for added comfort and reduced cost. Please refer to the specific item for more information.

Yes. We do rhodium plate all of our white gold products for an added white brilliance and layer of protection.

Many factors affect the durability and longevity of rhodium plating, including the thickness of the plating layer and the wear and tear the jewelry is exposed to. At Proclamation Jewelry, our Italian imported chains have a thick layer of rhodium plating that will last for years, and we apply a similar thick layer of rhodium to all of our white gold pendants and rings as well. 

We use .925 sterling silver for our silver items.

14 karat gold is comprised of about 58.5% pure gold, while 18 karat boasts 75% pure gold. Since 24 karat pure gold is very soft, it is mostly unsuitable to be worn as jewelry. Therefore other alloys such as silver, copper, and zinc are mixed with pure gold to strengthen the metal. It is the amounts of these other alloys that determines the purity and strength of the gold you choose. As a general rule, the lower the karat is, the stronger the metal and lighter the color will be since there is a smaller amount of pure gold present. For that same reason, higher karat golds weigh more, due to the higher density of gold than the alloys it is mixed with. Because the higher karats both weigh more and have more gold purity, the price can jump significantly as karat increases.

Yes. All of our items are created with natural, earth-mined diamonds, unless you have specifically requested otherwise. We use only diamonds of a minimum VS+ Clarity, D-G Color, and Excellent Cut. By most standards, these are of the highest quality and esteem, resulting in the most beautiful jewelry and most brilliant sparkle.

The black diamonds that we use are natural diamonds and have been enhanced by heat or irradiation to give them that stark, stunning, and masculine black color we love.

Most of our Italian gold chains do not contain nickel in them. 

Most of our chains are imported from Italy, but a few of the more rare styles are handmade here in the USA by our master jewelers. Please refer to the specific product description for more details on where each chain is produced.

On every chain product page there is a chart at the bottom of the description that shows the weight for each length in grams. Please scroll down and refer to this chart and remember that the weights shown are for chains with the Luxury Lobster Clasp only. If you select the signature clasp, the total weight of your chain will increase. That information is in the description as well. 

Yes. Due to the thicker components and stronger weld connections of our signature clasps, they are actually more durable than most standard clasps you see on gold chains. Additionally, our lifetime warranty will cover any manufacturing defects that may occur, although it is very unlikely.

All of the chains you see on the website are 100% solid. 

Our best selling chain is the diamond cut franco for many reasons. The main differences between diamond cut and plain franco chains is that the diamond cut (dc) franco has a more round-shaped profile and faceting around each link that results in added sparkle from the chain. The rounder profile also makes the chain more comfortable and suitable for wearing pendants.

Solid 18 karat gold chains have been a staple for decades. 18k gold chains give a deep and rich gold color, while still offering the strength and durabililty from other alloys that make it great for everyday wear. You can also safely wear a pendant with 18k chains. We recommend matching the pendant metal to the chain metal for the best cohesion. 

Our gold chains come standard with a superior Luxury Lobster Clasp, or you can choose to upgrade to one of our signature clasps. The signature clasp is a unique design that has elevated gold chain clasps from an eye sore to a beautiful benefit of purchasing from us.

You can choose a Lion, Tiger, Dragon, Skull, or Eagle signature clasp. All of them come complete with the snake enclosure. If you do not see one of these options on the website, please add your selection to the order notes during checkout. You can also email with your order number and request. 

Yes. If you purchase the original chain from us, you can send it back in at a later date to have the signature clasp assembled. You will just need to pay for the upgraded clasp and the cost of shipping to us. Please use our contact form or email us at with your order number and request.

Please refer to the product images on the specific product page where you will find a graphic of the exact pendant dimensions. Each pendant listing contains an image of both the Large and Classic versions on an inch and millimeter ruler.

Please refer to the description on the specific product page, where you will find bail dimensions for each pendant. As a general rule, Classic pendant bail openings are 7x8mm and Large pendant bails are 8x10mm wide.

We craft our pendants to have bails large enough to fit over our signature clasps. The "Classic" size pendants will fit up to the 5mm chain with the signature clasp, and the "Large" pendants will fit up to the 7mm chain with the signature clasp.

We recommend selecting your normal ring size. Many of our rings are larger than standard, but we have made modifications to them in order to compensate for the differences. If you do not know your ring size, you can download our ring sizer or visit a local jeweler who will happily size your finger for free (recommended). You can also order a metal ring sizer off of Amazon for less than $10 and have it delivered to your home.

We highly recommend taking precautions to get the ring size correct the first time. The best way to do this is to visit a local jeweler who should happily size your finger for free. Minor adjustments can be made to most of our rings up to 1 full size, but the bands with designs or diamonds all the way around will likely need to be remade.

We recommend using the polishing cloth that is provided with your order for weekly or monthly maintenance. Softly rubbing in slow circles for 10 seconds should restore your piece. For a deep clean, use an extra soft bristle tooth brush and one drop of dish soap to massage the piece under warm running water for 10 seconds. Carefully dry with a micro fiber cloth and finish with the polishing cloth.

Jewelry we produce comes with a limited Lifetime Guarantee against any defects in materials or craftsmanship, granted to the item's original owner. We will gladly accept any piece for repair and complete the work at no charge; you pay only the cost to ship the item to us. Returns or exchanges of a new, unworn Proclamation piece will be accepted within 15 days of the original purchase date. Returns must include all original packaging.
